Track Name: Trick of the Night
All the uncertainty, ice melting can’t you see,
We’re losing track of what’s right.
Filled with bureaucracy, stubborn hypocrisy,
We have a night left to fight for what’s right.

But they keep on telling us lies,
We dare them, come here and defy,
An age old trick of the night,
We say do it in the daylight.

Battles are raging while they’re contemplating
The state of the oil prices in our back yards.
How can we think that their actions acceptable,
Surely we’ll rise up and fight for what’s ours?

But they keep on telling us lies,
We dare them, come here and defy,
An age old trick of the night,
We say do it in the daylight.

Can we go back to the peace that we found,
Try to hold on as we turn it around.
Can we go back, to the peace.

But they keep on telling us lies,
We dare them, come here and defy,
An age old trick of the night,
We say do it in the daylight.
Track Name: We are the Lucky Ones
There’s a certain conversation and it happens even more.
We get angry at the friendships, then watch them go out the door.
Well there’s something deep inside you, it’s the voice that’s in your head.
If you’d only stop to listen, you wont end up sick to death.

Somedays we are the lonely ones.
Today (in someways), we are the lucky ones.
The lucky ones, today.

You see faceless people walking, and spot people in a trance.
Well now what’s the use of trying to make friends without a mask?
You are haunted by the footsteps of the people from your past.
Always just one step behind you, but you never get a glance.

Somedays we are the lonely ones.
Today (in someways), we are the lucky ones.
The lucky ones, today.

How long will this be?
When will everyone else see?
That we don’t need anyone else.
But we can’t be by ourselves.

Somedays we are the lonely ones.
Today (in someways), we are the lucky ones.
The lucky ones, today.
Track Name: Shadow
An old wind blows down the hallway
The doors left open again.
The cold wind blows down the walkway,
All this bitterness will end. All my efforts are in vain.

Can we take the pathway to heaven?
Are you an angel I don’t know.
Can you hear they are saying
I will be the one to fall.

Something stopped me from saying
Cut my actions in two
If I’d done what I’d wanted
Would I still be with you?

Can we take the pathway to heaven?
Are you an angel I don’t know.
Can you hear they are saying
I will be the one to fall.

When you walk you’re a shadow.
Full of bitterness and rage.
When you talk, you sound so low
Only I am afraid

Heard they blew out the candle
Burnt a long time ago
You have haunted me in my dreams
How will you ever know?

Can we take the pathway to heaven?
Are you an angel I don’t know.
Can you hear they are saying
I will be the one to fall.

I will fall.
Track Name: The Lights Will Guide Her Home
She went to fly through a land of old souls.
Ringing the bell to wake them as it tolled.
She asked them if they had wine or good cheer?
But they looked at her blankly just drinking their beer.

Well the daughter of one who was sucking her thumb
Greeted her kindly, if somewhat blindly.
Then the father he noticed his daughter and said
“Don’t turn around dear, go back to bed”

“And the lights will guide her home.
For she’s out here all alone.”

She flew through the village and then through the towns
Never laughing or joking, but just looking down.
Then she spotted a river and she just had to look.
And she saw an old man who was reading a book.

He said “Girl you must leave here, it’s not your time.
One day you’ll see it, and you will be fine.”
So she took to the sky and went high as she dared,
And the people all drinking were specs in the air.

And the lights will guide her home.
For she’s out there all alone.
She will join them when she must.
But the old souls are all dust.

And the lights will guide her home.
Track Name: Little Fears
When I woke up this morning, the sun was shining bright.
Your arms were wrapped around me like they had been through the night.
Lets stay like this forever, for days and weeks and years,
cos when you’re here you take away all my little fears.

I can sleep. I can dream a thousand things with you.
Never lost, always happy with the things that you do.
If you knew how I feel, I think you’d be happy too.
Hold you tight, through the night for the rest of our lives.

When I stepped off the plane that day and I saw you standing there,
Well your smile was so infectious, I never had a care.
Just staying like this forever, for all the time we have.
And looking in your eyes it makes my heart and soul so glad.

I can sleep. I can dream a thousand things with you.
Never lost, always happy with the things that you do.
If you knew how I feel, I think you’d be happy too.
Hold you tight, through the night for the rest of our lives.

I can sleep. I can dream a thousand things with you.
Never lost, always happy with the things that you do.
If you knew how I feel, I think you’d be happy too.
Hold you tight, through the night for the rest of our lives.
Track Name: Time Will Never Stop
One day, you’ll walk down that road and you’ll follow your own shadow.
Come what may, you’ll of seen it all before, every ceiling, every floor and every latch on every door.

And time can go so quickly, no time will never stop. And if you’re lucky you will use up all the time you’ve got.

Take it from me, I’ve sat around too long, writing words to many songs that go nowhere. Don’t get stuck, inside your little rut, get out and see the world before it shuts down.

And time can go so quickly, no time will never stop. And if you’re lucky you will use up all the time you’ve got.
Take pride in your family, take solace in your friends. And don’t you stop until your journey comes to an end.

And time is the only one. It’s the only one you can’t run from.
No time is the only one. It’s the only one you can’t run from.

And time can go so quickly, no time will never stop. And if you’re lucky you will use up all the time you’ve got.
Take pride in your family, take solace in your friends. And don’t you stop until your journey comes to an end.
Track Name: Last Goodbye
The times that we laughed out loud.
The times that we cried.
The times that you looked at me with those eyes.
I knew that you hooked me then.
I finally saw,
Your heart and your hurt so I walked out that door.

Every time I kiss you, you will see me cry.
And every time I’m with you, it’s like the last goodbye.

There’s a place in my mind.
I’m there all the time.
I wonder if you go? Would you see it too?
Inside you’re hurting, I know you so well.
Don’t try to hide it from me cos I can tell.

Every time I kiss you, you might see me cry.
And every time I’m with you, is it the last goodbye?

Maybe tomorrow. Could be today
I’ll tell you a story where we don’t end up this way.

Take time don’t worry, I’ll be here for you.
Come back to my life, I miss you.

Every time I kiss you, you wont see me cry.
And every time I’m with you, it’s not the last goodbye.
Track Name: Jupiter
You’re the one who shows me, who I am and what I can be.
When this day is done I’ll take you by the hand
And we’ll go far from here. We’ll run into the sun.

And we’ll find it. We will find it.
We will find that shooting star.
And we’ll ride it, past the planets,
See Jupiter and Mars.
See Jupiter from the stars.

Our lives are so much clearer.
The walls have been knocked down.
And if your waking moments scare you half to death,
Take my hand, I wont let you drown.

And we’ll find it. We will find it.
We will find that shooting star.
And we’ll ride it, past the planets,
See Jupiter and Mars.
See Jupiter from the stars.

Every day you will astound me.
Every time I’ll be amazed.
And if I ever let you down my love.
I promise we wont end that way.

And we’ll find it. We will find it.
We will find that shooting star.
And we’ll ride it, past the planets,
See Jupiter and Mars.
See Jupiter from the stars.
